2025 Recruit Parker Jefferson Plans Official Visit to Gonzaga

April 28, 2025 by The Slipper Still Fits

The 6-10, 230-pound forward/center from Texas played his high school senior ball at Inglewood, California.

With not much traction on the transfer portal market, Gonzaga is looking to the 2025 recruiting class to fill out the roster. Parker Jefferson, one of the top remaining players available, will be in Spokane starting Wednesday, April 30th to Friday, May 2nd, On3 reports.

The 6-10, 230-pound forward/center de-committed from the Minnesota Golden Gophers after coach Ben Johnson was fired. The USC Trojans and coach Eric Musselman are very much in the mix as well.

The Waxahachie, Texas native played his senior year of high school basketball with Inglewood, California. The skilled big man went on to average 16.3 points on a 53 field goal percentage, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game.

According to 247 Sports, the three-star recruit ranks No. 164 in the nation, No. 25 at the center position, and No. 19 in the state of California.

“He has good hands, very passer friendly, and can receive passes in traffic. His range extends beyond the three-point line with consistency. The athleticism will be a question, but he is still young with a September 2006 birthday. As he continues to grow, there is a skill and IQ foundation to build on.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw on Parker Jefferson

Gonzaga coach Mark Few currently has eight of next season’s 15 available scholarship spots filled (Braeden Smith, Steele Venters, Emmanuel Innocenti, Jalen Warley, Braden Huff, Ismaila Diagne, Davis Fogle, Graham Ike). A name in the transfer portal that is being mentioned with the Zags quite frequency is Arizona State Sun Devils senior guard Adam Miller.
