Braden Huff and Graham Ike to Return to Gonzaga for 2025-26 Campaign

The frontcourt duo made the announcement on the final day that the transfer portal was open.

Something you don’t see in college basketball much of anymore is retention of players. Not in Spokane. Redshirt sophomore forward Braden Huff and redshirt senior forward Graham Ike will be returning for their third seasons with the Zags. This will be Ike’s final year of eligibility while Huff still has two.

Huff averaged 11.0 points on a 57.7 field goal percentage with 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. He was one of the top bench pieces in the nation and will have a much larger role in 2025-26. Huff has played in all 70 of the Gonzaga games over the past two seasons.

Ike has lead the team in scoring for the past two campaigns. In 2024-25, he averaged with 17.3 points on a shooting split of 59.8 field goal percentage/39.4 three-point percentage/80.5 free throw percentage to go along with 7.3 rebounds per game. Ike was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team for the second season in a row.

Gonzaga’s frontcourt is going to be the strength of the 2025-26 group, one if not the best in college basketball. Ike should be considered one of the top returning players in the country. Along with freshman center Ismaila Diagne, the interior offensive presence from the Zags will be tough as nails. Long and versatile defensively as well.

Coach Mark Few’s roster currently has eight of next season’s 15 available scholarship spots filled (Braeden Smith, Davis Fogle, Jalen Warley, Emmanuel Innocenti, Steele Venters, Diagne, Huff, Ike). No signings have been made through the transfer portal for the Zags quite yet.
