After transferring to Gonzaga from Utah (2019-2022), Maxwell was named First Team All-West Coast Conference during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. The 6-0 guard was later drafted by the Chicago Sky with the 13th overall pick in the second round but never played in the WNBA due to a knee injury she suffered during training camp.
Being born in Portland and played for Gig Harbor, Maxwell will bring her Pacific Northwest ties to Cheney and help recruit around the area. She will be a wonderful fit under Joddie Gleason’s system.
