Duke, NBA G League lead NBA Draft Combine invites with 5 apiece; Gonzaga gets 4, Baylor, Arizona 3 apiece

Duke and the NBA G League lead the way with five players invited to next week’s NBA Draft Combine in Chicago while Gonzaga has four and Baylor and Arizona three apiece.

For Duke, Paolo Banchero, Adrian Griffin, Trevor Keels, Wendell Moore Jr. and Mark Williams were invited.

Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren, the potential No. 1 overall pick, will be joined by teammates Andrew Nembhard, Julian Strawther and Drew Timme.

From the NBA G League, Marjon Beauchamp, Dyson Daniels, Jaden Hardy, Michael Foster Jr. and Fanbo Zang were invited.

Arizona had three players invited in Dalen Terry, Christian Koloko and Bennedict Mathurin.

Baylor also has three in Kendall Brown, Matthew Mayer and Jeremy Sochan.

Three SEC teams had two players invited. Kentucky’s TyTy Washington and Shaedon Sharpe (who didn’t play a single college basketball game); Auburn’s Jabari Smith, who is in the mix as the No. 1 overall pick, and Walker Kessler were both invited; Alabama’s, JD Davison and Keon Ellis were invited.

Ochai Agbaji and Christian Braun were both invited from reigning national champion Kansas.

Several Big East players were invited including Villanova’s Collin Gillespie, Georgetown’s Aminu Mohammed, Marquette’s Justin Lewis and St. John’s Julian Champagnie.
