In the final Associated Press poll for the 2024-25 season, Gonzaga finished as the No. 23 college basketball program in the country. Saint Mary’s is right behind at No. 24. The Zags received 250 total votes and the Gaels had 186.

In KenPom, Gonzaga ended up at No. 8. The Zags had the No. 6 adjusted offensive efficiency and the No. 29 adjusted defensive efficiency.
Gonzaga completed the 2024-25 campaign with a 26-9 overall record and a West Coast Conference Tournament title to boast over Saint Mary’s. That was the 22nd championship for the Zags since 1995.
In the NCAA Tournament, No. 8 Gonzaga handled No. 9 Georgia in the first round, 89-68. In the second round, Gonzaga’s season came to an end at the hands of No. 1 Houston, 81-76.
