This is a key non-conference matchup in Sioux Falls for the Zags.
Gonzaga and South Dakota State will play each other in the famous Sanford Pentagon on November 20th. The time is to be determined.
“The Sanford Pentagon is a great facility and always puts on high level events. We have a ton of respect for the South Dakota State program and always look forward to playing quality teams in our non-conference schedule. This should be a very fun, early season game.” – Gonzaga coach Lisa Fortier

The Jackrabbits have made the NCAA Tournament a total of 13 times since 2009. They hold a 6-13 all-time record and made the second round before losing to eventual national champion UConn Huskies this past season. South Dakota State is the reigning Summit League regular season and tournament champion.
As for the Zags, Gonzaga is the reigning West Coast Conference regular season champion but missed the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016.
This is a resume-building opportunity for both programs early on in the 2025-26 campaign. South Dakota State leads the all-time series against Gonzaga, 3-1.
