The all-time leading scorer in Gonzaga history has found success out on the East Coast.
Since being traded from the Stockton Kings to the Long Island Nets back in December, Drew Timme has become one of the top players in the G-League. The Gonzaga legend is averaging 21.3 PPG on 52.4 FG%, 10.6 RPG, 4.4 APG, and 1.0 SPG through 11 games with the Brooklyn Nets’ affiliate. He already has eight double-doubles with his new organization on the East Coast.
Along with Domantas Sabonis being snubbed from the NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco, so has Timme from the G-League’s Up Next Game. Two spots do remain in the player pool.

The all-time leading scorer in Gonzaga history has proved that he can keep up with the speed at the next level. It seems like Timme’s opportunity in the NBA could be given to him soon. Brooklyn has a 15-33 overall record, stand currently at 13th in the Eastern Conference standings, and have a glaring hole in the frontcourt. What do they have to lose?
