In other transfer portal news, Delaware freshman guard Izaiah Pasha has cancelled his visit to Spokane.

The 6’4 sophomore is a Maryland native and is one of the best available guards in the transfer portal. Rodney Rice has already completed a zoom with coach Eric Musselman and the USC Trojans. Next, he will have a zoom with coach Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs tomorrow on Thursday, April 9th.

Rice was a huge part of the reason why the Maryland Terrapins made it to the Sweet Sixteen in this past NCAA Tournament with the help of freshman center Derik Queen and junior guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie. Rice averaged 13.8 points on 43.4 field goal percentage/37.4 three-point percentage/81.4 free throw percentage, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in 2024-25.

Upcoming visits to the Villanova Wildcats (April 10th-11th) and Tennessee Volunteers (April 12th-13th) are also set for the sophomore guard. Gillespie, Rice’s backcourt partner in College Park, will also make the trip to Knoxville alongside him. The pair was one of the best duos in all of the Big Ten Conference last season.

No official visit to Spokane is set for Rice at this point in time. In other Gonzaga transfer portal news, Delaware freshman guard Izaiah Pasha has cancelled his visit to Spokane which was set to take place after the dead period. It is now reportedly between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Penn State Nittany Lions.
