A former quarterback at Washington has committed to a new program.
According to On3Sports, former Washington quarterback Sam Huard has committed to Cal Poly.
Huard played in five games over the last two seasons for Washington. In those games, he completed 24-of-44 passes for 265 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions.
Before he committed to Washington, he was a five-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class and the third-best quarterback in the country, per 247Sports composite rankings. He was also the No. 12 overall recruit, regardless of position.
Huard will be hoping that he can put up better numbers on Cal Poly before potentially transferring back to a Power Five school.
This is a player that has a ton of talent and he won’t be afraid to showcase it.
