Throwback Game of The Week
We’ve been going through the Willingham era for a while in this segment, so I thought I’d give you all a break from that and focus on Coach Pete’s team. This is a very special Apple Cup to me, as this was one where all my upperclass friends from high school who had gone to WSU were talking trash on Twitter about the Huskies, and these Dawgs very quickly showed that even on the road, no matter who they were playing, they were just too talented! It was extra sweet going into my first period history class that Monday and absolutely ruining my history teacher’s day by talking about the game. I can still remember him saying to another faculty member, “all he wants to do is talk about the damn Apple Cup!” All apologies to Mr. Schauble! But here, for your viewing pleasure is the 2016 Apple Cup, which clinched a PAC 12 North title!
