Monday Dots: Dawgs Stall on the Road as Wheels Come Off

October 20, 2025 by UW Dawg Pound

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN – OCTOBER 18: Bryce Underwood #19 (L) and Jordan Marshall #23 of the Michigan Wolverines celebrate after a touchdown during the second half of a college football game against the Washington Huskies at Michigan Stadium on October 18, 2025 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Happy Monday Dawg fans, and welcome to today’s Dots.

The Huskies carried a 7-7 score late into the 3rd quarter in Ann Arbor with a real chance at pulling off a road upset, before UW went INT, INT, TO on downs, INT. UW’s unraveling in the last 17 minutes of Saturday’s game handed the momentum, points, and victory to the Wolverines.

The Huskies offense continued their pattern this season of alternating explosive plays with self-inflicted wounds and stalled drives. And as the 3rd INT fell into the hands of a supine Michigan DB, I understood that thee Football Gods — having already put “Huskies, this isn’t your day” in all-caps — saw to add bold type as well.

The Huskies can still make a 10-win season this year if they handle their business from here on out, starting with Illinois at Husky Stadium, 12:30pm this Saturday.

  • “3 takeaways from Washington Huskies’ road loss to Michigan” Andy Yamashita, Seattle Times.
Jedd Fisch’s admission that ”[We] Did not coach well. Did not put our guys in the best possible position to succeed.“ is the first time this season I’ve heard him putting any responsibility on the coaching, tbh.
