In my days working in Labor Relations at UW, Friday night home games were always a giant hassle. You had to basically close down huge parts of campus services early on Friday to accommodate fans coming in for the games. Parking spaces that are usually available to employees are taken up by tailgaters and fans. All of these changes required consultation with unions and employee groups to make sure nobody was treated unfairly. So this Friday, my thoughts are with the people whose Friday schedules are a little bit more complicated due to 70,000 extra people converging on Montlake on a weekday.
Kickoff at 6:00 PM Seattle time from Husky Stadium.
TV: The game was originally scheduled to air on Fox, but with the Mariners taking up that timeslot, the Huskies will move to FS1, with Noah Reed and Robert Smith on the call. You can stream the game on the Fox Sports app.
Radio: The live radio broadcast will air via the Washington Sports Network from Learfield. As usual, Tony Castricone, Cam Cleeland, and Elise Woodward will cover the game, which is available on KJR 93.3 FM, the Huskies GameDay app, or the Varsity app.
Welcome to the game thread and Go Dawgs!
