The Huskies are back on the road to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Wednesday evening. It will be the fourth game in the last five in which the Dawgs will face a team ranked in the top 15 in the country. Nebraska is up to #7 in the latest polls after starting an incomprehensible (for the program) 18-0. Head Coach Fred Hoiberg has turned around a team that was seemingly permanently stuck in the lower third of the conference. His son, Sam, is leading the team in assists. Pryce Sandfort, an Iowa transfer who UW pursued in the transfer portal, leads the Huskers with 16.7 ppg on 41% three-point shooting.
Nebraska enters the game as an 11.5 point favorite. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM PT on the Big Ten Network.
Go Dawgs!
