Happy Monday Husky fans. The Huskies got some welcomed good news today when three-star linebacker Ramzak Fruean from Bethel HS, WA committed to Washington.
Fruean, who is rated as the 48th best linebacker in the country by 247 Sports, had narrowed his recruitment to a final three of BYU, Arizona, and UW after de-committing from UCLA earlier this fall following their coaching change. Listed at 6’4” and around 215 pounds, Fruean projects as a linebacker in college, but has the ability and potential to grow into an edge which provides the Husky defensive coaching staff with flexibility.
The Huskies now hold 2 commitments at linebacker heading into Wednesday’s early signing period along with Ezaya Tokio, and Husky fans should be excited to see another top local recruit stay home and commit to the Huskies (they now hold commitments from 2 out of the top 4 players via 247 Sports). That is all for now and keep an eye out for more breaking news heading into signing day.
