New head coach Jimmy Rogers has added a plethora of new Cougs since being named head coach.

New Washington State head coach Jimmy Rogers has been putting in plenty of work since being named head coach a little over a week ago. The former South Dakota State head coach has reportedly added 10 former Jackrabbits and one high school commit over the past few days.

So far, the Cougs have added kicker Jack Stevens, running backs Angel Johnson and Kirby Vorhees, defensive lineman Max Baloun and Fernando Lecuona, safeties Cale Reeder, Tucker Large, and Mathew Durrance and linebackers Caleb Francl and Carsten Reynolds. He also added high school linebacker Isaiah Hung who had previously been committed to the Jackrabbits.

Large has played in 26 games over the past two years and has tallied 7 interceptions and 83 total tackles during that span. Durrance had 2 interceptions last year and has 97 combined tackles over his four years while playing in 40 games. Reeder had 165 tackles and 4 interceptions in 52 games during his first 4 years with the Jackrabbits. He had 3 tackles in his 1 game played last year before getting injured in the season opener.

Running backs Vorhees and Johnson have combined for 16 touchdowns and 1,625 yards over the past two years. Johnson has added an additional 131 yards and a touchdown on 20 receptions.

Francl has tallied 106 tackles over the past two seasons including 11 tackles for a loss at linebacker. Reynolds is a redshirt freshman who appeared in just one game last season.

Defensive lineman Baloun has 18 tackles and 9.5 tackles for a loss in his 4 years 47 games. Lecuona had 4 tackles and a pressure in his 4 games as a true freshman last year.

Stevens is also a freshman who appeared in 2 games last season. He averaged 57.5 yards per kick and missed his only field goal attempt.
