Just newly announced and already one of the most anticipated spectacles of the upcoming season is the brand-new “Stripe the Stadium” initiative for Cougar fans. I’ve been BEGGING for WSU to try this out, and it gives me chills just thinking about it— A sea of crimson and white flowing through Martin Stadium like a living, breathing wave of Coug spirit and Fireball. I mean come on, the game-opening “Go Cougs” chant led by Butch, with a packed (Emphasis on packed, I hope you bought your tickets), beautifully organized striped out stadium? On national television? Say less.
I’m holding out hope that the vision will come to life as I imagine— But one thing about us Cougs is we’re all about uniting as one when it comes to showcasing our pride in Martin Stadium every fall, and showing the world what it means to bleed crimson and gray whenever we get the opportunity. So whether you’re donning your crimson threads or rocking pristine white against Texas Tech on September 7th, get ready to stripe it up and show your Coug pride in a way that’s as unforgettable as it is beautiful.
Another major point of excitement for this upcoming season— Ol’ Crimson Legendary Lager’s football season debut. Just thinking about that liquid gold flowing freely at every tailgate, watch party, and bar in Pullman and beyond gets me ridiculously hyped. I can’t wait to witness the beauty of Cougs everywhere enjoying the pride of the Palouse on a crisp Cougar Football Saturday, as God intended. The sweet taste of victory mixed with damn good beer that supports our athletes—it’s a match made in Cougar football heaven.
