A great weekend for the Cougs.

Last weekend, your Washington State Cougars women’s basketball team took on the Arizona schools, beating both by comfortable margins. You can read the recap of Cougs vs. Arizona State on January 19th here and Arizona on January 21st here.

On Friday, the Cougars ran out to a 18-0 lead and hit cruise control from there. Bella Murekatete and Ele Villa led the scoring with 16 points each. On Sunday, the Cougars had five different Cougs rack up double-digit points, including a career-high tying 20 points from Tara “Tea Time” Wallack. You can see the tea time celebration from the Coug bench a lot this weekend as well as some great shots of the Cougs interacting with the fans after Sunday’s “Superhero Day” game.
