2021 has been a season of discord, dysfunction and dismay for many Washington state football fans

This is not the worst collective football season in this century for the Seahawks, UW and WSU — it would take far more misery to unseat 2008 — but it has been tumultuous in a way that would have been hard to fathom during the hopeful summer lead-up.
