(Subtitle: Why I Am Not Worried About Technology Taking My Job)
With the Seattle Seahawks’ first preseason game rapidly approaching, I decided to have some fun . . .
But first, some context:
- I have had a lot of stress and turmoil in my personal life the past several months (hence my absence here on Field Gulls).
- Since the NFL Draft at the end of April, the amount of bandwidth I’ve given the Seahawks is almost zero. Honestly, I’ve paid more attention to the Mariners (not that I’ve paid much attention to them either).
The good news is that most of the stress and turmoil has resolved itself – or, rather, morphed into different types of stress and turmoil that are easier to deal with which frees up some mental bandwidth just in time for the Seahawks first preseason game !!!
I considered celebrating the start of the Seahawks’ march to SB LIX with a 12 Thoughts piece but, given how little attention I’ve been paying to the team lately, I doubted that I could come up with more than five thoughts.
Instead, as I mentioned at the top, I decided to have some fun.
I am a techie at heart so, of course, my “fun” involved asking ChatGPT to “give me three reasons why the Seattle Seahawks will reach the Super Bowl this season.”
This is what the world’s most popular AI said:
Here are three compelling reasons why the Seattle Seahawks could reach the Super Bowl this season:
1. Stellar Quarterback Play: Geno Smith’s performance as the Seahawks’ starting quarterback has been nothing short of impressive. His ability to make smart decisions, combined with his accuracy and mobility, gives the Seahawks a dynamic and versatile offense. With his leadership and experience, he can drive the team to the top.
2. Formidable Defense: The Seahawks have consistently invested in building a strong defense. With a mix of seasoned veterans and promising young talent, their defense is capable of shutting down opposing offenses. Players like Jamal Adams and Bobby Wagner bring both skill and leadership, making the Seahawks a tough team to score against.
3. Versatile Offensive Weapons: The Seahawks boast a potent offensive lineup, including the explosive wide receiver duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Their ability to make big plays downfield, combined with a solid running game led by Kenneth Walker III, provides a balanced and unpredictable offense. This versatility keeps defenses on their heels and opens up opportunities for scoring.
These factors, combined with the strategic acumen of head coach Pete Carroll, position the Seattle Seahawks as strong contenders for a Super Bowl run this season.
Um . . .
Where do I even start?
Answer: In the Comments, cuz I don’t want to ruin the fun that I know the Field Gulls community will have with this one.
Go Hawks!
