Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has been using sign language after scoring touchdowns this season and on Wednesday, he finally revealed who inspired him to do it.
He got the idea from teammate Boye Mafe, who knows ASL (American Sign Language). Metcalf has been taking ASL classes on his days off and is hoping to get better with it.
Metcalf also confirmed that he signed “Standing on Business” during last Thursday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Part of the reason why Metcalf has been learning sign language is so he doesn’t keep getting fined by the league after he scores.
Assuming he fines the end zone again on Sunday, fans will likely see another celebration in ASL from the talented wideout.
The Seahawks will take on the 49ers for the second time in three games, though this contest will be on the road.
Kickoff will be at 4:05 p.m. ET.
