Seahawks safety Jamal Adams is getting crushed on social media this Friday because of a post directed towards SNY reporter Connor Hughes.
On Friday morning, Hughes shared a video of Adams giving up a crucial touchdown to Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. His caption for this play was straightforward: “Yikes.”
Instead of letting this go or having a mature interaction, Adams decided to cross the line and mock Hughes’ significant other. He posted a photo of Hughes’ wife with the caption: “Yikes.”
Hughes has been covering the Jets for several years. Perhaps he didn’t have a good working relationship with Adams. Even if that’s the case, there’s no excuse for Adams to take a personal shot at Hughes.
As you’d expect, NFL fans are crushing Adams for this post.

The truth is Adams hasn’t lived up to his contract in Seattle, whereas the Jets haven’t missed a beat on defense with him no longer on the roster.
For now, Adams has decided to keep his tweet up.
