A couple of the big questions for the Seattle Seahawks heading into the preseason finale against the Los Angeles Chargers have surrounded the availability of starting center Ethan Pocic and third down back Travis Homer. Pocic has been battling a hamstring injury that had kept him sidelined for much of training camp, while Homer started camp on the physically unable to perform list with a calf injury that had been bothering him since the offseason.

Both are back on the practice field for the Hawks, however, meaning there is a very good chance that both play Saturday.

And no sooner did I tweet this and it was announced that Homer has passed his physical and can practice starting today. So, Seattle’s RB competition gets a little more interesting. https://t.co/wL3qd0B31M

So, between the signing of tight end Luke Willson and the return of both Pocic and Homer from injury, the likely Week 1 units appear to be coming together.

Now attention will turn to Pete Carroll’s statements after the loss to the Denver Broncos that the starters will see the field against the Chargers, with fans excited for their first glimpses of the Shane Waldron offense being run against competition by the first string offense.
