After Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams posted a photo of the wife of a New York Jets reporter in retaliation for a slight on X, he quickly got roasted on social media. Now, he appears to be responding to the backlash.
Taking to X, Adams appeared to double down by writing, “Don’t start nothin won’t be nothin. #Prez.”
Obviously that wasn’t an apology and fans are continuing to roast him for making a statement like that:
Don’t start nothin won’t be nothin. #Prez
— Jamal Adams (@Prez) December 1, 2023
“How about handle your beef with the person you have beef with and don’t resort to comments about his girl’s looks,” one user replied.
“You made a bad play resulting in a touchdown… He does what reporters do and reports You attack his spouse… You’re such a badass dude.. so brave..” another mocked.
“bro @Prez you are so soft … on defense… on twitter..in life… i defended you many times to Jets fans on the radio but man you are the worst .. delete apologize play better be better,” ESPN’s Peter Rosenberg wrote.
It doesn’t sound like Adams has any plans on apologizing though. And there’s not much reason to expect that he will.
