The Seahawks were unable to defeat the 49ers on Thanksgiving night, but rookie wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba had the NFL world buzzing over his incredible one-handed catch.
With the Seahawks backed up near their own end zone, Geno Smith gave Smith-Njigba a chance to make a play down the field in tight coverage. The former Ohio State star didn’t disappoint.
Although it wasn’t an incredible throw, Smith-Njigba managed to snag the football with his right hand and maintain possession as he was falling to the ground.

Take a bow, JSN.
Plays like this are why Smith-Njigba was considered a “can’t miss prospect” leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft.
Smith-Njigba finished Thursday’s game with two receptions for 41 yards. He’ll try to build off that performance in Week 13.
We’ll see Smith-Njigba back in action next Thursday against the Cowboys.
