Jaxon Smith-Njigba was the hero the Seattle Seahawks needed on Monday night.
Smith-Njigba caught the game-winning touchdown from quarterback Drew Lock with less than a minute to go in the fourth quarter to lift the Seahawks over the Philadelphia Eagles.Ā
It was a major moment for Smith-Njigba and he can only thank his alma mater, Ohio State, for having him ready.
“The Ohio State – They prepared me for these moments,” Smith-Njigba said.

The win got the Seahawks to 7-7 overall as they continue to stay in the race for a playoff spot in the NFC.
Smith-Njigba finished the game with four receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown. He now has 53 receptions for 541 yards and three touchdowns this season.Ā
There could be many more moments like these in his future if he continues his development.
