Madden NFL 22 does Quandre Diggs dirty

Seriously, what the hell is this?!

EA Sports’ Madden NFL 22 is already available through EA Play membership early access, and uh… we’ll ignore the reviews and focus on the Seattle Seahawks part of this story.

Quandre Diggs has become one of the key members of Seattle’s defense and I’m still amazed at how little it cost to get him from the Detroit Lions. It’s a contract year for him and I hope he gets an extension because he’s been that good. You know what I also hope he gets? An apology from the Madden game developers.

Shits terrible! https://t.co/TVzXYgdTWF

Why yes, that’s what Quandre looks like in this year’s Madden. You see how he looks without his helmet on in the lead image.

Not everyone gets the realistic player likeness treatment and I guess the 2020 Pro Bowl selection still hasn’t gotten that status yet. Tyler Lockett was laughing it up, as well as former Seahawks Adrian Colbert and Will Blackmon, and uh… everyone else on Twitter.

Maybe we’ll see Diggs’ virtual self look a little more like real Quandre as part of the planned updates throughout the year. Due to COVID-19 a couple of new head coaches are stuck with generic models for the time being, but Diggs has been in the NFL for six years and a full-time starter since 2017. All of this is to say… could you not have done better with Diggs, Madden and EA?

Then again, let’s not forget how they had Pete Carroll looking in Madden ‘18.
