Not long after it was reported that Jamal Adams could face punishment from the NFL for his treatment of the independent neurologist during Monday night’s game, the Seahawks’ Pro Bowl safety has issued an apology.
Taking to social media, here’s what Adams had to say about the situation:
First and foremost, I want to apologize to the OG. You did everything right when you realized I was concussed, I apologize for any negative energy I brought your way. Watching the replay, I am thankful for your patience knowing I wasn’t myself in that moment. You’re a real one and you serve a great purpose that benefits the NFL and so many players. Prioritizing player’s health is essential. Much respect to you! – Prez

Fans reacted to Adams apologizing Wednesday.
“Seahawks safety Jamal Adams apologizes for what happened on Monday night after taking a big hit and suffering a concussion — the first in his career. Jamal was playing his first game in 385 days,” Jordan Schultz reported. “I don’t think there should be any type of punishment from the NFL, considering the situation and his sincere apology – and especially now that we know Jamal wasn’t in his right state of mind.”

No word yet on the NFL’s decision of whether to discipline Adams or not, but this apology should suffice.
