Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is usually known for being quiet. So when he dished on his relationship with quarterback Russell Wilson, it means a lot more.
Appearing on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, Lynch opened up about his time with the Seahawks at the height of the Legion of Boom era. But when questioned about his relationship with Wilson, Lynch struggled to find good things to say.
“Russ was just a quarterback for me,” Lynch said at the start. When Sharpe asked him if he and Wilson ever got together to do things outside of football, Lynch looked at him like he was crazy.
Lynch made it clear that he didn’t want to speak negatively about Wilson, but did acknowledge that things were icy with him at times.
