Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was all smiles after his team’s 20-17 upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles last night. But his postgame outfit might have been even wilder.
At his press conference, Carroll wore his hat backwards. While the move likely made notorious backwards-hat-hater Colin Cowherd lose his mind, the NFL official X account decided to have some fun with it.
“how do you do fellow kids?” the account posted, referencing the famous meme of actor Steve Buscemi pretending to be a high school kid in a television show.

“Pete being Pete. Legendary,” one user wrote.
“Why does Pete Carroll look like Santa Claus’s evil twin brother,” another joked.

For a 72-year-old man, Carroll knows how to keep himself feeling young even if he doesn’t quite look it anymore.
