On the team’s day off from training camp Monday, the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff and front office made the most of their free time by hosting six different players for visits.

Quarterback Quinten Dormady (pictured) played for Central Michigan, Houston, and Tennessee in college, throwing 21 touchdowns and fifteen interceptions. He went undrafted in 2021.

Dominique Martin, meanwhile, is a defensive back who played college football at Tarleton State as a wide receiver. He was present at Rams mini-camp in 2019 and also visited with New England last week.

Alex Tchangam, an outside linebacker, is another defensive player in a position of need for the Seahawks. The former Colorado Buffalo went undrafted in 2020.

Moving to the offensive side of the ball, Seattle hosted two pass-catchers in Anthony Ratliff-Williams, a receiver who played for North Carolina and more recently the Tennessee Titans, and Carson Williams, who was Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball in high school. Williams signed with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this offseason before being waived during OTAs.

Finally, the Seahawks worked out G Lukayus McNeil, who played football at Louisville. He went undrafted in 2019 and has spent time with the Raiders, Dallas Cowboys and most recently the Atlanta Falcons. McNeil could be an interesting one to keep an eye on. He started 46 games during his four years at Louisville, playing both guard and tackle during that timeframe. The Seahawks, of course, love versatility from their offensive linemen, and with an athletic profile that is not all that dissimilar from the offensive linemen the Los Angeles Rams have added in years past it may be worth remembering this name.

Obviously, the team constantly works to churn the bottom of the roster, and it could be that none of these six are brought on board. Nobody has been released from the active roster, so no signing appears imminent. It is interesting, though, that the Seahawks are looking at another former basketball player to play tight end, though, having signed Michael Jacobson earlier this week. What are John and Pete up to?
