Whitaker is an undrafted free agent who was hoping to make the team heading into the season.
He played his college football at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and was a defensive back. He started 11 games at the position during the 2021 season and was sixth on the team in tackles with 46.
He also led the team with four interceptions and played for the school from 2017-21.
Hopefully, Whitaker is able to come back stronger for next season as he tries to carve out an NFL career for himself.
