The Love family gained a new member this weekend as the wife of Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love gave birth to their first child today. But with a game against the Tennessee Titans in Tennessee less than 24 hours away, he needs to decide whether to spend the first day with his child or on the football field.

Per Dov Kleiman, Love intends to play for the Seahawks against the Titans tomorrow. He did not practice on Friday as he was with his wife in prep for the birth.

This past week was one of Love’s best performances of the season. He had nine tackles and two interceptions in a comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

For his efforts, Love was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Seattle Seahawks are currently in a dogfight for a wildcard spot. They’d be on the outside looking in if the season were to end today, so they need to start mounting wins in a hurry.

Will Love be an impact player for the Seahawks on Sunday?
