The Seahawks are adding depth to their secondary. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, they’ve signed cornerback Kelvin Joseph.
Joseph, who started his college career at LSU before transferring to Kentucky in 2019, was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
In 26 games with the Cowboys, Joseph racked up 36 tackles, four pass break-ups and a forced fumble.
The Cowboys then traded Joseph to the Dolphins prior to the start of the 2023 season. He was released a few months later.

The timing of this signing is interesting to say the least. This upcoming Thursday, the Seahawks will face the Cowboys in Dallas. Perhaps they’re trying to receive some intel from Joseph.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Joseph will even make an impact in Week 13.
Seattle will enter this Thursday’s game with a 6-5 record. Pete Carroll’s squad can’t afford to keep reeling, especially since the 49ers are starting to heat up.
