We also have a featured game of the day, which is considered must-watch TV. Today’s featured game is the Vegas Golden Knights vs Seattle Kraken. Be sure to check out more NHL predictions in the coming days as the 2024-25 season continues.

NHL Predictions

Vegas Golden Knights vs Seattle Kraken

Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: Scripps Vegas; KHN; KONG; Sportsnet; ESPN+

Our opening and featured game of NHL predictions has the first meeting between the Golden Knights and Kraken this season. Adin Hill is the expected starter for the Golden Knights, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Ivan Barbashev is the team-leader in goals with seven. However, Mark Stone is leading the way with 15 assists and 21 points for Vegas.

Joey Daccord is the projected starter for Seattle, which is coming off a 6-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Jared McCann and Jordan Eberle are tied for the lead in goals with six. However, McCann is first in assists (10) and points (16) so far this season.

Daccord is a capable goalie, but he’s facing a tough task against a well-oiled Golden Knights roster.

Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-2.

Minnesota Wild vs Anaheim Ducks

Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: Fan Duel Sports NorthX; Fan Duel Sports WisconsinX; KCOP; ESPN

Our final game of NHL predictions has the Minnesota Wild taking on the Anaheim Ducks. Minnesota is coming off a 5-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks the night before. Filip Gustavsson is the likely starter with Marc-Andre Fleury playing the night before. Kirill Kaprizov is off to a tremendous start with seven goals, 17 assists and 24 points. Matt Boldyis the team-leader in goals with eight.

Lukas Dostal is the probable starter for Anaheim and he’s played well  despite those stats not translating to victories. Troy Terry is the only player on the roster with double-digit points with 10. He also leads the team in goals with five while Mason McTavish is first in assists with six.

The Wild are off to a fast start and that should translate to another victory on the West Coast.

Prediction: Wild win 5-2.

Prop Bets of the Night

We wrap up this round of NHL predictions with some prop bets. Let’s start off in the opening game between Vegas and Seattle. Jack Eichel is +1200 for the team’s first goalscorer according to BetMGM. McCann is a solid play at +230 as an anytime scorer for Seattle.

In the final game of the night, Boldy seems like a decent play for an anytime goalscorer at +175. On the Anaheim side, the Ducks at under 2.5 could worth a shot at -108.
