- ICYMI, reliever Matt Brash has been shut down indefinitely after continued elbow issues, leaving his 2024 season with the Mariners in doubt.

- MLB has announced that the league plans to address its uniform issues after widespread player and fan complaints. A memo was sent out last night that said multiple changes to the uniforms will happen by the beginning of next season at the latest.
- In his second game since being called up by the New York Mets, third baseman Mark Vientos hit a massive walk-off homer to secure a 4-2 win in the 11th inning over the St. Louis Cardinals.
- Baltimore Orioles closer Craig Kimbrel exited in the ninth inning of the team’s game yesterday with back tightness after blowing his second consecutive save. The severity of his injury has not yet been determined.
- The Chicago Cubs have placed LHP Jordan Wicks on the 15-day IL due to a left forearm strain.
- In his first at-bat of the Texas Rangers’ 4-3 win against the Cincinnati Reds, rookie Wyatt Langford flew around the bases to collect an inside-the-park home run as his first big league home run.
