A new week, a new Mariners Reacts
We are so back Mariners fans, not the team, they’ve been getting blown out by the Yankees, but Mariners reacts are so back. Did you miss me? Trick question. I know you did.
Anyway, I’ll cut to the chase, not last week but the week before last, I asked if you thought our beloved dumper could deliver in breaking the all-time record for home runs in a single season by a catcher, 49 to be exact:

Kyle Thele
It seems like people are ready for the big, beefy man to hit big, beefy bombs. You hear me, Cal? The people demand BEEF BOMBS. Plenty of doubters and haters are still out there, but hopefully, they will be loyal converts to the Church of the Dumper.
Now, on to the survey for this week, I would usually include exclusively Mariners-related questions, but I thought the events in baseball this week deserved special attention. As some of you may have seen, Pete Rose has been posthumously removed from the permanently ineligible list. Rose is now eligible to be elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2028. For me, Pete Rose will never be allowed in the Hall. A bitter man who never apologized, never showed remorse, and never came close to changing his ways. He gambled every day until the end of his life, and that’s not even mentioning the unsavory aspects of his personal life. Yes, I see the irony in having this stance, no, that does not change my opinion. All that being said, I do want to hear yours. Leave your answer in the survey and the comments below.
Now, on the other side, I do have a Mariners-related question. Now, for a little context, I have to submit the questions before I write the article, so Bryce Miller was placed on the IL after I submitted the questions for this week. Still, his recent performances beg to be talked about; moreover, he’s the third Mariner this season to go down with some sort of throwing arm injury. While the Mariners’ pitching lab has been producing quite well, it seems to me the effects of hard throwing and the pitch clock are beginning to catch up with everyone. Let me know your thoughts through the survey and comments below!
